Hello list,
we've had RPM packages for a while now for Sofia-SIP, so it's about time
to get Debian packages as well.
Sources
-------
The debian control files (the 'debian/' subdirectory) are available in
CVS, in the 'sofia-sip-debian' module. Instructions on how to build debs
using this module are available in our wiki at:

Example packages
----------------
I also uploaded a set of example binaries for Debian sarge/i386 to
sourceforge:

Open issues
-----------
I've now divided the build into three subpackages, sofia-sip for utils
and documentation, libsofia-sip-ua for runtime library and
libsofia-sip-ua-dev for development files (static library and headers).
I've not yet attached a soname to the library packages. This should be
changed (starting with libsofia-sip-ua0) when we release the first
interface-stable version of Sofia-SIP. For more info, see:
