I'm new to sofia-sip. Can anybody tell me if it supports any real-time

much could be the effort to port to VxWorks?
at least I'm not aware of any ports. But, but, porting to any POSIX style
system should be fairly straightforward. Based on past experience,
most porting issues are related to...
- enumerating local interfaces (in 'su' module, there's no POSIX
nor other portable interface to do this)
- acquiring DNS server addresses (but most POSIX systems have
/etc/resolv.conf)
- IPv6 support (not a problem if there's none, but beta-level support
might cause trouble -- like with the IPv6 tech-preview for win2000/xp)
But that's about it. Our unit test suite (what you can run with "make
check") is pretty extensive, and this eases the porting job a _lot_.
We'd be of course interested to know if someone starts working on new
ports. For now, at least our Sofia-SIP team at NRC is concentrating
on Linux, Win32 and Mac OS X as main target platforms.
