I am not sure about the server side, but from my experience, sofia should be able to handle lots of simultaneous sessions on the client side. I expect you will run into CPU constraints in forwarding the RTP before the stack gets bogged down. I do recommend, for any multiple endpoint application, the su_yield() patch I posted in the Multi-enpoints thread. Hopefully that patch or something like it will get into the main branch.
