I mapped such domain in both hosts file and DNS configuration, thus it should
be resolved somehow (as all the other application do, like Openser).

I am not very familiar with DNS configuration, so could you tell me exactly
where it should definitely be present?

Thanks,

Diego

Subject: [Sofia-sip-devel] Can NUA resolve domain names?

In a previous thread with different topic I mentioned this problem, but
now I try to make it more clear:

        handle = nua_handle(nua, NULL, SIPTAG_TO_STR(to), TAG_END());

        or

          nua_message(handle,

                                                        SIPTAG_TO_STR(to),

                                                        SIPTAG_FROM_STR(from),

                                                        ...

        With to = sip:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:5068 doesn't work, with to = sip:[EMAIL
PROTECTED]:5068 it works.

        Any hint?

Is japan.lan really resolvable in your DNS configuration? Sofia-SIP doesn't use
the system resolver, so /etc/hosts and such do not work.

Best regards,

Mikhail
