I've been playing around with Sofia on iPhone as well.
I built a static version of the OpenSSL library and used that for the
TLS parts in Sofia. I haven't actually tested a TLS connection with the
libsofia-sip-ua and/or libopenssl-0.9.8a libraries that I built and I
have tested it on a real iPhone - just the simulator.

To be able to create a fast prototype I had to remove the
support for tls
( I remove the source files related to tls from the source tree
).
There is someone from the list that was able to compile the TLS
related files on iPhone ?
