Alberto,

I was having problems getting it to work at anything greater
than 48 kHz. Well tonight I was going to try and better
characterize what was happening and now it works fine. If you
recall a few weeks ago I posted the question about other
users success at 96 kHz. At that time I could not get either
the Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS or the Audiophile 192 card to
work at 96 kHz for more than a brief period. Well tonight on
PC boot up the Audigy card did not load. And now
interestingly enough tonight the 96 kHz setting in SDRadio is
now working fine. So I think I may have found a key clue as
to what the problem I was having is related to :).

Since tonight I have beeen able to run the Audiophile 192 at
96 kHz the most that I ever have I played with it some more.
It sounds very good and seems to be working fine and
completely stable at the moment. Unfortunately I do not have
any means to measure distortion or anything like that so can
only go by ear and what I see on the panadapter. Looking at
the noise floor it looks very flat with only minimal rise as
you get nearer the edges of the spectrum display, so I do
believe that the Audiophile 192's audio bandwidth is as flat
as its specifications claim. I also really like the large
piece of spectrum that the 96kHz setting provides.

I'm feeding the SDRadio/Audiophile 192 combination with a
"Time Machine" board from Expanded Spectrum Systems. This
card is designed for providing a wide slice of a band's
signals in I/Q format so it matches very nicely with SDRadio.
