I'm getting started with SDR and would like some advice on which sound card to get. I'm not rolling in money right now so I need to go economy class. I have the following sound cards besides the built in card;
SB 1024I, a older sound card 16 bits SB Live 24(USB), this one might be a problem in that it may tax my PC too much. I was thinking about buying of a reasonable priced PCI card and later I will buy a M-Audio Delta-44. I can get a SB Audigy 2 ZS for about $70, this is about as much as I want to spend right now. Turtle Beach Catalina8 for about $46 SB Live 24(Pci) for about #34 Any recomendations? Initially I'm going to be playing with SR-40 radio but I will be moving on to something better later. Right now I'm leaning toward the SB Audigy 2 ZS, on paper it seems to be a very good sound card that will be usable for a long time. ------------------------ Yahoo!
