I'm looking forward to reading the article The main difference using a 4066 is it has a considerably higher on resistance (about 50 ohms) so you'll have more insertion loss. Have you tried measuring the insertion loss? I'm just curious how much 'real world' difference there is between a 4066 and a 3253
