See the plot on page 74 of the Terratec EWS88MT manual (downloaded at
ftp://ftp.terratec.de/Audio/EWS/88MT/Manual/EWS88MT_Manual_GB.pdf ). It
is a frequency response plot that shows it to be flat as a pressed
pancake (looks like about +/- 0.1dB) out to 20 kHz (no data provided
above that) but you can see it starting to roll off.

This is a low blow, perhaps bordering on criminal fraud. They claim 
96 KHz sampling, which anyone would assume means it is usable above 20
KHz.

Someone should write the FTC on this, Creative Labs got nailed for 
the false 24 bit claimed sampling. Maybe it's time to turn up the 
heat on these guys too.

I have not ben able to find out where the company is located however. 
Does nayone know if they have a sales office in the US?
