No, it's not his computer that is infected... a kind soul traced the IP address
that originated that message to India.
So apparently the spammer is in India, and sent the spam inserting the mallet8
fake email address in the "from" field...
Too bad that Yahoo does not permit to filter or to moderate messages depending
on the country where the originating IP
address is located, otherwise India would be on top of that list. Also the
other time that spam arrived, it was
originated in India...
