Hallo,
the PLL-oscillator is somewhat as a push und pull-unit, which changes
all the time the oscillator-frequency. It could be described as a
continous wave-function.
Because of that, PLL-oscillators, which are regulating a lot seem not
to be so suitable. PLLs with not so big correction-function should
perhaps work sufficient.
The introducing of a converter to 12 kHz could be on the other side
effective for SDRs in AM, SSB, FM-modulation. The quality of the
signal must not be so precise as the DRM-signal.
There are a lot of SDRs. The SDRadio and WinRadio from
www.weaksignals.com or the SDR by Peter Carnegie, G8JCFSDR.
www.g8jcf.dyndns.org.
There are a lot more of spectrum-analyzers and oszi-programms even at
weaksignals by Alberto. Very nice and practical tools.
