About Jason: I was reading of how Jason is stable to use down on 138 kHz there about and was meant to enhance those frequencies. Here in the USA we have the unlicensed 1750 Meter Band of from 160~190 kHz. There are a few people who operate there and even make transceivers for that segment.
1 watt is the max output however they claim that at night you can make contacts of from 300 to 1000 miles at sometimes on one watt. And you need lots of capacitance hat on the antenna there. A few of us have been thinking of opening some staions there. Allen at WBCQ is opening up a station and I have long thought of it myself. We both want to try some AM there but it does seem to me to be a very narrow band and so better use of it would be to use Jason to keep transmissions down to very narrow in width.
