Hi Alberto

You wrote last year You intending 2006 to experiment with double
H-mixer. Has You spare hours for this? How are the outcome of this work ?

In the next days I experiment with MAX4545 (or perhaps FST3125) as
mixer and I take an interest in H-mixers.

Cecil,

thanks for the pointers. They look as interesting devices. May be
they are not blindly fast, especially the ADG824, but I think that,
judging from the specs, the ADG859 could be used up to the 40 meter
band. I will check tomorrow if AD offers samples of these two devices,
and I will ask for some if they do. Not that I have in my immediate
future the project of building a new QSD, but having in the drawer
the components ready for doing it, can be of help. And in any case
I am intending next year to experiment a quadrature mixer in the
form of a double H-mixer which, according to some, can offer an IIP3
greater than the sampling detector.
