CIAO Radio 1.35 does something very interesting with its DRM mode
reception when used with an ordinary AM receiver's audio output.

It cleans up a regular AM broadcast via sampling the AM audio from
the earphone or line level output jacks.

If you set the cursor to sample exactly 12 kHz "up frequency" from
the station's frequency and then adjust the audio bandpass filter to
pass audio from "0 to 4kHz," then it will process the AM audio and do
so with reduced noise and excellent sound quality. "The reduced noise
aspect is the interesting thing." This can lead to another possible
mode and use of CIAO Radio's software and DRM software in general.
Fading is still noticable but the noise is removed greatly. {This
seems to be working on the i.f. image?}

I am looking at using the CIAO Radio H101 hardware here soon to
see how this is all going to work. I imagine that such a radio will be
a treat here. Good luck to all of you good designers and engineers in
this new frontier!

Add topics to "Radio Accessories Corner" to aid in improving
listener's reception at WBCQ 7.415 MHz.

Post your good advice and even circuit diagrams as well as graphics!
There is a whole bunch of SDR and Radio Software links listed there
and add more if you have them! Post a direct download link there to
your softwares!

If you want to advertise something there in that post; then make it
look like an informative article of interest rather than an
advertisement and post it that way. Do it in a smooth way and then it
will pass inspection there. Since it is about radio accessories, you
can post graphics and links even a few prices. Just make it "seem" to
be "non commercial in approach." Do what you can to generate some good
and interesting ideas and even homebrew topics for some good content.
Please spruce your post up with some graphics when possible.

Graphics are placed there as follows:

Just put your RSS feed graphics url inside the and
that will do it.
