The problem is Sygate can no longer be updated ... I ran it for a few
months after Norton bought it out but early this year it developed a
security hole (or I should say, hackers found a hole) and since it
can't be updated it's not a good idea to trust it anymore ... Norton
did fix the hole but you have to pay for  their version to in order to
get an update
