I was thinking here that if one used such things as the National Semicondutors PLL chips in the Giga Hertz range then Giga Hertz range i.f. sections can upconvert HF and thus be PC controled since the National Semiconductor chips come with a PC design software that can run these chips out of the PC straight off of the PCs power also. That software can then be used in a receivers controls in another software design, permission from National to rebuild their software needs to be obtained however.
The 602 4.5 GHz series then is an interesting idea. _____________________________________________________________________ PrivatePhone - FREE telephone number & voicemail.
