Its been awhile since I looked at that but I believe it is an LED
display since most of those at Coppers is that way. I am thinking this
is one of those counters that is enclosed in a cabinet that is about 1
1/4" high by 3" to 4" wide. I do not know the color or LED display
size but I would like a light blue if it were me. I built a Heathkit
radio some years ago that used a fluorescent blue vacuum display and I
liked the looks.

I plan to get one purely to find out who makes it then we can see if
they can out source one made for us without a cabinet enclosure.
Currently I expect one can take the board out and put it in their
receiver projects. Use a Dremel Tool and cut out a panel window and
also use the frequency counter's original front panel to finish it and
make it look clean.

I should carry your data sheets site url on my post, thats some site
you have. Got to remember that its there the next time.

We all should see some interesting circuits this winter here from
folk in the group and maybe a few emerging kits. I already seen the
"High Performance SDR" site. That high end stuff. The CB'ers call
that stuff Top Shelf Technology. It goes on the top shelf of their
rack mount.

The microwave pass band circuit ideas are very interesting. Those
things called I/Q Modulators sound cool. I guess there is some of that
Blue Tooth Technology that can be spun off into something else here.

  * I was looking at Texas Instruments SDR Radio chips and exploring
them awhile back, that Radioscape DRM Radio stuff. Those chips are
made for Radioscape's DRM Radio over seas and I would like to get them
here. Its virtually a SDR radio on a microchip for $18 a chip. To
read about that you have to go to TI and search engine "Digital Radio
Mondiale." TI ought to allow someone to retail them individually to
spark innovation with here in the USA. To date I am not aware of
anyone retailing these chips in mail order. There might be someone
somewheres? Hopefully.

Radioscape is going to have DRM and SDR in a automobile dash board
radio. They are outsourcing boards to radio manufacturers now. At
least thats what I seem to recall.
