Here is simple circuit idea that is sort of raw at the moment but it might get some of you receiving DRM late tonight or tomorrow and so give you a taste of some of the SDR softwares if you have not yet acquired a QSD circuit or SDR receiver.
So if this works or gives you similar ideas then use it and it might give the manufactures of low cost shortwave receivers an idea for their digital portables that will not cost allot to manufacture. You need a receiver capable of upper sideband mode. Just think like this, the reception of DRM is in wide upper sideband mode and thats all you have to know. Plus you have to run the audio out to your sound card and have Dream DRM software to demodulate the digital signal. Tomorrow just tune to 9800 kHz and you will hear a DRM signal here in the USA. It sounds really awful in its raw un~decoded signal. You will see what looks like a video signal of 10 KHz width on the DRM spectrum display (in AM mode to look for the signal).
