Well the sound architecture has changed, it did for XP too but the REAL problem is no one wants to support older hardware and in M-audio's case, only wants to support their USB line ... I don't consider any item still hawked in stores as obsolete and last I looked the Deltas were still being cranked out and sold retail by M-audio ... Same with Creative's Audigy line If they refuse to support it then they should release the full details to the card so a 3rd party can, there is no good reason not to
