I copied your comments and will keep them. i was thinking that I needed a little gain ahead of the AND gate and was thinking about a threshold level input. Etc. Check some data sheets to see the possibility. I will try your idea here as soon as I can. I have a few projects going now and so, this will be a simple one. I will go back and look at your NAND gate suggestion also. My best bet for a simple QSD is the Quad Bilateral Switch. But we will try the NAND gate out first. Dan
