I'm sure this has been asked before, but I've forgotton / lost the details...
Does anyone know of a soundcard based I/Q tone generator for testing & setting up SDR transmit converters? And what SDR Transmitter software is out there? I want to build a 144MHz Tx converter to go with my existing Rx for use with microwave transverters. It only needs SSB and CW modes. The ability to support dual soundcards would be invaluable. I bought a very nice, quite reasonably priced, Logitech USB stereo headset recently to go with some soundcard based radio software. This appears as an additional soundcard, and didn't eveneed any additional installation software (Win XP). It operated seamlessly with the S/W, with straightforward pull-down selection for soundcards to be apportioned between voice and transceiver drive. Andy G4JNT www.scrbg.org/g4jnt
