Johan,

Thank you very much, I got involved with this because my brother is trying to
build a DDS based Rx (said trying because findind parts here is very difficcult
and there are almost no chances to buy them overseas due to customs
regulations). Besides that I became interested in a 9912 based DDS, stand
alone, very low spur signal generator, so your thread catched my eyes
immediately.

  Thank you again, best ...

  Marcelo

Iam also planning to use the AD9912.

Information about my project (sorry most in dutc; but the software and

      Hi Johan,

Could you please translate your post?, I think it may be of interest to some
other homebrewers -like me!!!- to have your comments shared.

  Thanks!!!!!

        Hoi Jos,

Leuk om te lezen dat je een sdr gebouwd hebt. Ik heb hetzelfde gedaan. Ook in
electron beschreven.

Prinjes laat ik maken bij http://www.olimex.com . Ik maak de beschrijving
mbv eagle EDA software.

Ook ik ben van plan om een AD9912 te gaan proberen.

  Voor info over mijn project:

Subject: [soft_radio] PCB for AD 9912BCPZ

      Hi All

I homebrewed a SDR Rx based on the SDR1000 concept, and it's running fine,
except
for lots of spurious produced by the AD9854 DDS.
So now I like to try the new AD9912, but I have one problem : I can't make a
PCB myself.

I tried to find an adapter for the AD9912 footprint (leads breakout) but
didn't succeed.
Is there someone here that can supply, or knows a supplier for this ?
A compleet PCB for an AD9912 DDS would be great of course :-))

  tnx es 73
  Jos (PA3CCE)
