Cecil in case you don't get to LT Spice soon, I posted this here, the 90 degree phase transformer circuit is at
http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/LTspice/files/%20Temp/Splitter%20Transformer1.asc this link should work, if not, there is the longer link: http://f1.grp.yahoofs.com/v1/4B65R1OkmYJ9ZT2-XNGGgzpbQzhELiLuYhprP0cHx3GVuJLpXFAi5TmRnPjCJTnTnb9mx7U2ZatTcbh5iRkz0Lpl4Vw/%20Temp/Splitter%20Transformer1.asc Helmut corrected it by turning around L2 180 degrees, which I could not do. Maybe I just did not locate that symbol in the library. And it does peak at 7 MHz which I figure it would in the L C values but is broad banded enough for some use in 3 and 6 dB terms. Interesting. Now we can plot the performance of the phase splitter transformers over the bandwidth. Is there anyways to turn around these symbols? Sometimes I need to turn around a cap or resistor around in the circuit. This is what I could not do with L2 to see if that would work. Helmut got the transformer working good, you can do things with it now. I can now go on and model some of the diode mixers I have been looking at. I got the diode mixer text in the Temp folder there at LT Spice so folk could see what I was up to with this. And maybe help me out. It works pretty nice now. Now I will do it in PSpice. Dan
