I have perfected the toner transfer method for PCB artwork and use it on all my boards that I make at home. You can see how I do it at http://www.swdxer.co.nr Artwork is done on Eagle and typically I don't draw a schematic , I just place parts and draw tracks manually. Simple , extremely effective., but not a ten minute job.
