Hi Alberto, I2PHD I want to design and build a softrock type front-end for receiving NOAA weather satellites on the frequency's 137.500, .620, and 137.100 MHz.
In analog receivers de IF bandwidth should be 30 KHz wide for good FM detection off the 2400 Hz picture data. I suppose the 48 KHz wide I & Q audio channel is no problem but can WINRAD demodulate this data and handle the dopplershift and store it as a WAV file on the PC? Is modifying the FM software detector bandwidth till 30 KHz possible ? Thanks for the info, Joris PE1KTH --- In [email protected], "i2phd" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > I have just released Winrad V1.31 build 10. > You can get it from http://www.weaksignals.com > or from the mirror http://www.winrad.org > > From the change log : > > * Mute button position fixed > * AGC switchable On / Off > * Bug fix : floating point overflow > * WAV file > 2GB are now supported > * Display of WAV running date/time > * Floating mouse cursor display bugs fixed > * Random lockups problem fixed > * Keyboard shortcuts added for frequency (copy & paste possible), > mode change and filters > * ECSS lock improved > * Support added for two new external I/O data formats : 32 bit > integers and 32 bit floats (normalized to 1.) > > As usual, reports are very welcome, even if everything works ok.
