Hi, everybody,

I have a question. It could be a bad question but how do I know if it
is a bad question if I do not make it?

I have an old Digital Signal Processor from Radio Shack. It has an
audio input and output jack for an external speaker. In the past I have
used it with several shortwaves radios and it works fine.

I understand the processor converts (please, pardon my english writing)
the analog incoming signal into a digital signal in order to reduce
annoying tones and noises. Then, the filtered signal is converted back
into analog signal so it can be heard thru the external speaker.

My question is the following. Can I use the "digitalized" signal, if
possible, with a simple SDR program or software? That is, by connecting
the DSP to a computer as an analog digital converter (ADC).

Well, thanks so much.
