I have been trying to learn how the sound card interface works. I use VC++ Ver 5 because it was the last version I bought brfore I retired. And I am comfortable with it.
I have found the DSOUND files but not much infomation on how it works. Is it possible to get any help from this group about how you read and write to the sound card? I am a skilled programmer. At least I was when I retired 10 years ago. Bob Macklin K5MYJ Seattle, Wa.
