Alberto, Thanks for the info on the mixer. My problem is I don't see any sound data. Just a flat line in 8 bit and some random noise in 16 bit. I have my computer connected to my home audio center. I selected it and turned all channels of the mixer to max. I did not get any data. My problem now is to know what the CODEC is using for input. The waveIn drivers seem to be working fine. They are identifing the correct (only) CODEC and they BITCH if I give them bad parameters. I ask for 8 buffers and I get 8 buffers. If the headers are not setup corrent they TELL ME about it. In 8 bit mode I get a flat line (0x80). In 16 bit mode I get noise slightly negative. Tonignt I am going to modify my program my test program to display +/- decimal numbers so I can see what the pattern may be. Bob Macklin Seattle, Wa.
