I run Alpha Clock starting at boot time. I am using version 1.3.1,
build 32, dated 2002. The "about" info shows http://www.irnis.net/?aclk.

It is quite configurable, 12/24 h, local time or UTC, and has several 
color schemes as well. I have not attempted nor felt the need to update 
it in more than two years.

I am using it on WinXP Pro SP2.
