 Hi Tom,

  yes, I wrote both SDRadio and Winrad, and, from what I can tell, the
denoiser of Winrad works slightly better than that of SDRadio...

 But there are some caveats. The effectiveness of that kind of
denoiser algorithm depends much on the level of the signal. Try to
experiment with different signal levels, adjusting both the "Vol" and
the "Thr" sliders. Keep this latter as low as possible. Usually I
leave it at zero. Additionally there is one consideration that must be
done. That kind of denoiser works best when the signal is wide band.
Experiment with various bandwidths to see if there are improvements.
Other than that I have no other suggestions. But I suspect it is all a
matter of levels...
