SDR-Shell is a very nice Software Defined Radio Graphical User Interface for controlling the DttSP sdr-core. It was built to be used with simple SDR receivers like the SoftRock and SDRZero. SDR-Shell was developed using the Qt Toolkit in Linux. The transmit functions are currently being implemented to enable TX on SDR transceivers like the SoftRock RXTX 6.3,http://groups.yahoo.com/group/softrock40/ Cheerd from Stevie 2M0ufo --- In [email protected], Vaclav Peroutka <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Hello here, > > I am just joined this group so let me a little bit introduce myself. > > Recently I started experimenting with SDR (ok, 1 week ago :-) ). > > I am planning to build ZetaSDR as a first test. I know it is not the toplevel RX. But just for first tests I think it can be OK. But I can't get oscillator of 28.224 (or similar). Has anybody tried this schematic http://www.eco-lavoro.com/i0skk/supervxo%203.5MHz%20pics/vxo_3.5MHz.jpg > with crystals 12.288+16MHz (or 10.24+18MHz) which I can buy without problems ? > > Yesterday I bought M-Audio Revolution 5.1 which can be very good for SDR. But as I do not have Windows OS - I am using Linux for 10 years - can somebody recommend me some simple usable software similar to Rocky or M0KGK ? I do not want to spend much time digging any huge package. > > I was thinking to write some application by myself as well. ALSA + wxWidgets.
