My P4 @ 2.4 GHz desktop with 512 MB RAM and an Audigy 2, 24 bit soundcard is taking from 13% to 23% of CPU load running Winrad 1.32b19, while the total load including other tasks is about 30% So, I believe it would work on your laptop. 73, Jose, CO2JA
