It is not possible to open two Extio dll's simultaneously in
Winrad. It is possible to integrate several functions in one dll but
someone must write the software.

To change the AVR/SI570 frequency you can use the original software of
DG8SAQ http://www.mydarc.de/dg8saq/ <http://www.mydarc.de/dg8saq/>
and Extio_Icom.dll to sync the IC746. It is good to have "Always on
top" mode for DG8SAQ window since Winrad occupies the total desktop
screen and task switching is not straight forward. "Always on
top" means that this window can not be hidden by other application
– it stays always on top. I have found in the Net numerous programs
that can be used to implement "Always on top" function. I tested
"Power Menu" http://www.abstractpath.com/weblog/
<http://www.abstractpath.com/weblog/> and it works quite well.

You do not need to run HRD but you can still can use HRD simultaneously
with Winrad and EXTIO_Icom if you want. You can share 1 physical com
port with many Windows applications by using "Splitter port".
See again in my article about this possibility and look at
www.eterlogic.com <http://www.eterlogic.com/> .

You should type in ComSettings.cfg number 86 which is decimal
equivalent of 56 hexadecimal. This is the address of IC746.

I uploaded the source files of EXTIO_Icom.dll in LZ1AQ folder in this
forum.

I hope this will ease the man who will take the idea of Steve to design
a combined DLL which will control both TRX and SDR oscillator.
