Saw your inquiry about Winrad and your PC-1xxx receiver. A local
ham has an earlier model of your receiver and I believe he uses Ham Radio
Dream which is a rather ultimate program constantly being updated by
Swiss ham. He has used some other programs but don't know if he has
used WinRad or not. I use it on my SDRIQ with good success.

I have played with HRD on my FT1000 and it really is quite a program
and the best part is this professional softtware engineer donates all to the
ham world. I think a search on google for "hrd software" will grab
it for you or at least you can read the list of gear it is interfaced for.

I note someone mentioned the SoftRock series of kits/prebuilts. I
can recommend them highly..... I have three of them and their design engineers
seem to be making significant upgrades constantly

Hope this helps. SDR technology is great... for the most part. I
love the ability to capture various blocks of ham bands and have it recorded
to HDs and then go back and examine every signal that was on at the time.

Please excuse typing errors, broke a lens and on my laptop.... server
down. Hi.
