Yes, it looks like it is working OK now, thanks for the advice Alberto, Now I need to get used to all of the settings... CW and SSB seem straight forward enough, but the FM side has me scratching my head a bit. I heard two stations on 70.475MHz this evening, one a near neighbour and another station a few km away. Using the SDR-IQ and Winrad the audio sounded poor through the built in sound card on the PC and the display showed the frequency modulation OK, but not very strong. However, if I unplugged the transverter from the SDR-IQ and used my TS2000X on 28.475MHz with the mode set to FM, the received audio was much better. Even better if I set the TS2000X to narrow band FM, as I think both stations were using narrowband FM anyway. I'm sure it's something I've not set up properly yet, but I don't think I'll be using Winrad to decode many NBFM signals anyway. HI. Dave (G0DJA)
