Hello all, I am a greenhorn when it comes to SDR's. I have recently
received a Elektor board and have installed Winrad to use it witha Dell
Optiplex gx260 P4 1.8 Ghz 1 Gb ram 40 Gb HD-running Windows XP Pro. I m
a Mac user so Windows is also new to me.
Now that I have it running I was wondering about mounting it inside the
computer inclosure . Has anybody done this ? Will I set my self up for
unwanted EMI ,unwanted signals , etc., to the computer or the board?How
about Antennas what is everybody out there using, anything different
from a regular shortwave receiver. And how about software for Mac's with
an Intel processor?
I am open for any constructive ideas.
