I've been able to fit the LD-1 PCB into a very nice extruded aluminum enclosure
from Hammond Manufacturing. And when I say fit, I mean perfectly. Check out
the photos on my blog (www.garage-shoppe.com) and the Lazy Dog Engineering
website, www.lazydogengineering.com. I have one radio in the plastic enclosure
left, still at $150.00. When that is gone, it will only be available in the
new enclosure. I have one now, and expect five more by Monday. Also, both of
the failures which I suspected were caused by defective USB cables were in fact
caused by defective USB cables. That case is closed.
