But I still think my suggestion might bring one close if not exact. Of course for AM (and steady carrier like WWV) something the ECSS mode as per Winrad is superb. Hope you pick up on that - it is great for frequency measurement and allows DSB/USB/LSB when needed. And finally a good notch filter would be nice - manual ones seem the best.
