I'm primarily using Winrad and I have played with Winrad HD a bit. I tried to use G8JCFSDR and PowerSDR but I can't get either to work.
The local oscillator tunes from 100 khz to 86 mhz. With my 96 khz soundcard I can tune just below 60 khz. Below the AM broadcast band a preselector is needed. Lots of images from AM stations crowd the band. But I have picked out a bunch of beacons and I heard WWVB on 60 khz this morning. I am looking for a suitable and easy preselector circuit to build up of if the price is right, I'll grab a used MFJ unit and tweak it. Hope this helps.
