Hello, Would like to "play" with Winrad, but at present do not have any SDR receiver.
Really don't want to spend a grand for an Excalibur. Was wondering if anyone might suggest a "decent/good" SDR receiver that would enable me to use Winrad that is perhaps $500 or less ? Not a requirement, but would really like one that covers vhf/uhf for MilAir, etc., as well as the HF frequencies. As an opinion, how would it compare using Winrad software with e.g., the Excalibur' performance (with their WinRadio software)? Any opinions would be much appreciated. Thanks, Bob
