Ok I have tried this out, and its saved many recordings for me, I see
the logs "NO AUDIO!" now.

Not to be pushy, but is there a way to peek back at the audio stream to
see if its cleared up? (back to 48000 hz, good signal), and re-establish
audio output? The only way for me to re-establish audio output is to
restart vdr. Switching channels doesnt help.

Thanks for any reply!
