Yes, I'm sure I'm using the cvs version, because -vo xv:use-defaults works, which was only added after the last release. So I would need something to externally record the contents of the framebuffer, or the contents of the vdr window? (using xv output method). I'll look for something that will do the job, do you have any suggestions? I would concede that is probably is nvidia related.
