Have to ask, I like to move into HDTV soon with XvMC/Nvidia I Have used softdevice for a long time, and prefer it over the problematic xine and libxineoutput plugins. I use it on the framebuffer with DFB, it has far superior deinterlacing and no A/V sync issues.
