Yes,
- it is running as user vdr,
- it is started in the default runlevel,
- and the reported issue #4 with shutdown is resolved:
- found the point where I had to activate vdr's shutdown feature:
/etc/conf.d/vdr.shutdown
- for some reason my /usr/bin/sudo lost it's suid bit. After restoring that
it worked. Perhaps that was due to the fact I copied my whole system
via tar to a new location. I'm shure I used --preserve for extract but ..
This vdr box is now a diskless client :-) .
