I recently swapped out a Matrox AGP G550 with a PCI G450 card since the former had bad colour output, and I'm now getting quite high CPU usage, in the area of 60% to 80% utilization. My cpu is an Athlon XP 2500+ on a nforce2 MB.
Is this normal utilization with a pci card? I'm outputting composite video using crtc2 in 720x576, with the exact same configuration as the G550 was set up with.
