Leo. Don't start everything from scratch. You just probably still have the
VDR softdevice plugin library using the latest (ie. different) version of
ffmpeg runtime libraries. I assume you didn't re-compile VDR and VDR
softdevice plugin? (well, it is enough if you re-compile just the
softdevice plugin again).
Clean old softdevice compilation files and re-compile VDR plugin. After this
the softdevice plugin should use the new (older but still different in
binary level) version of ffmpeg libraries (and remember to "make" AND "make
install" ffmpeg libraries when you re-compile it):
cd /usr/src/vdr/PLUGINS/src/softdevice
make clean
cd /usr/src/vdr
make plugins
Stefan had some good ideas about this problem but unfortunately I have had
time to test run those theories (too much work elsewhere :-( )

I have tried it softdevice don't work for me. First I only recompiled
ffmpeg. After no luck I have recompiled libcle266 too. But the new error:
vdr: /usr/local/lib/libavcodec.so.51: undefined symbol: av_init_random
