Project: Vdr Softdevice Category: general Status: Open Resolution: None Bug Group: None Priority: 5 Submitted by: jbg70 Assigned to : none Summary: Video 4:2:2 problems Details: Hello, I use vdr-1.6.0, softdevice (form CVS, 0.4.0, 0.5.0 - I tried all versions!), but when I tune on a channel with 4:2:2 video format, I see the image looking in black and white with some spot of colors like shadows. OSD colors are displayed correctly over the 'bad' video. I tried also different version of ffmpeg, without solving the problem. A vdr stream can be downloaded pointing your browser to http://jbg70.interfree.it/data.tar It is about 55Mbytes, (1 minute recording) but there is a lot of bandwitdh for downloading. Any hints? Thanks. Follow-Ups: Date: 2008-May-12 12:58 By: jbg70 Comment: Update: vlc playes correctly the channel, but without OSD (I already knew!). That means a problem on the client side (ShmClient). I can produce the same problem in vlc if I choose the deinterlace mode as X, medium, linear. my command line for vlc is just: vlc http://localhost:3000/PES/Cannel_num...
