Just to reassure you, all the developers (and build machines) here we have both VC++ 2008 *and* VC++ 2010 instealled. They are made to co-exist. So a past installed for 2008 is not an issue. Does it work to compile from the IDE? I would first look in your global environment variables and any script you use to start your command line..
