I thought I had heard of a way to disable OpenGL hardware acceleration
in Softimage's setenv.bat, but now I can't find how to do that.
Does anyone remember the way to get some AMD drivers to work with Softimage?
I just bought an AMD FirePro V7900. Depending on the driver I try, either:
Softimage has a 3 second lag when you change selections, or
Maya 2009 is completely unusable. Modeling a point doesn't change the
shape until the next refresh and deformations don't always update.
I'm looking for a driver or solution which will work with both.
