Yes, the ports have to be different...I think we worked on that together about 3 years ago once ? If not you, it was someone else ;-)

Editing the Deadline license may have fixed it. I'm having a problem with LMGRD.exe apparently. The new IPv6 x64 version that now is available from Autodesk seems to break Deadline, but if you use the 32 bit version that ships with Deadline it breaks Softimage. At the moment I can't seem to get both Deadline and Softimage to run at the same time. It's one license server or the other, but never both. -Paul
